  Work was done but communication and booking/waiting time left a lot to be desired. We have used these guys before and in fairness we were taking advantage of an advertised cheap mot offer which must inevitably be a 'loss leader' for that price but my real bugbear with offers like this is that you start to feel a little like a second class customer. The car was dropped off first thing (8am) and we were told they would get it in as early as they were able to but with no guarantee... When we called at 12.30 for progress were told 'still not started' and they got pretty defensive about the 'not guaranteed' time slot thing. We eventually went in just before 4 having chased again and told it had been started. Some of the staff are definitely better than others and when i tried to quiz the helpful guy i managed to extract the fact that if we wanted a timed slot we would need to book 2 months in advance next time as they only do 2 of these a day! The standard seems to be book in and not offer any time or guarantee- 'its the cheap deal therefor its ready when its ready.....'
  They are a big setup and i would imagine highly profitable as the business they are winning is against mainly prestige franchises who charge unbelievable rates. So what i would say is if it will take all day (a simple mot only takes 40mins) just let the customer know at the outset - manage expectations!
  I will be going to my small local garage next time and paying the extra for a more personal service.
